Do the battery saver applications actually work? If they do, which is the best battery saver application for Android?

BATTERY SAVER APPS
"Battery Saving" Apps are used to reduce battery usage on your Smartphones.
The basic idea of this apps is to kill or "Force stop" the apps which are running at the background which consumes a lot of memory.
The more the memory usage the more battery will be consumed.

So according to it the algorithm are designed to stops the apps from using large amount of memory.

As a human tendency we are too  "LAZY" to do same old things again and again.

  • i.e to go to Andoid Settings > Apps > Force each apps which are running at the background

If u havent tried it, try this steps sometime then you will get why I used the word "Lazy";-)

  • So this apps are built with advanced algorithm to work seamlessly just by using a One Click Option.

There are many apps available on Google Play Store for battery saving.

Try using Greenify - Best way to Save Battery(For Rooted Devices).
DU battery saver,CM lite(extra app inbuilt option) etc.

I would suggest not to use any “battery saver” apps. The more apps you use, the more battery you'll drain. Instead of that, get rid of the unwanted apps you have installed.
Battery saver apps close the heavy processes and fix the brightness. You can do that even without the apps.

IF YOU REALLY WANT TO SAVE BATTERY ON YOUR ANDROID PHONE FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE TIPS:

  1. Brightness level: change anytime you want. The battery will only be consumed when you use your device so don't worry about the brightness level.
  2. Running apps: close apps from the recent apps tab. If you feel as if any app is working in the background, close it from the app management by force closing the app.
  3. Notifications: Disable show notifications option from the app management of the apps you don't want to be notified about. This will help in stopping unwanted battery usage in notifying you about the app activity.
  4. Uninstall apps: uninstall those apps which pops up or shows their notifications without you accessing them.
  5. Startup apps (root): Android root users can disable startup apps from app called Android tuner. This app has many power user functionalities so use with caution.
  6. Greenify (root): hibernation is a good way to keep the apps in check. This apps allow you to pause apps you want to use later from the same progress as current. Just select the app from the running apps list inside greenify and make it hibernate long as u want. The app will resume from where it was.
  7. Lite apps alternative: using lite alternatives of heavy apps is also a better option.
  8. Charging: charge when battery is low and charge it to 100%if possible. This will help out in refreshing the battery itself.
  9. Closing services: closing Wi-Fi, GPS, mobile data and any other background services may also help.
  10. Stay away: for God's sake, do not keep your mobile phone always in your hands, slide it in your pocket or put in on the desk our table wherever comfortable and do other tasks. This will surely save a huge amount of battery.
Hope this will help everyone.  😊😊😊😊😊😊
